Media Specialist
I lead the Media Center at Central Christian School. I have been working in education for over thirty years. I have experience not only as a Media Center Specialist, but also as a classroom teacher.
I received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 1976 and a Master of Education in Middle Grades Education in 1984. In 1994 I earned a Specialist Degree in Media Education. I was chosen as the Teacher of the Year on six different occasions. In 2008 I received the Exceptional Media Program Award from the Georgia Department of Education for developing a program for parents to earn their GED in Griffin, GA.
As a Media Center Specialist I enjoy working collaboratively to support teachers and the curriculum being taught. I strive to make the Media Center a place that everyone in the school loves to visit. I invite parents to visit as well.
