Dear CCS Nation,

I just wanted to write you a letter about how excited I am to be here at Central Christian School. My wife, Heidi, and I have received so much love and support from so many of you reaching out to us. That support has created such a comfort in our hearts and a reassurance of God’s plan to relocate and bring our family here.

Just to share my heart, I am here as a servant to the Lord. I really believe God structured me and molded me through my life to be a school administrator. My leadership is one that really lends itself to having a healthy relationship with our students providing love and support; however, just like being a parent at home, administering discipline when needed through a compassionate vessel. This leadership involves growing our faculty, staff and associates through support and love as well.

The door to my office is always open for our students and family members. Please feel free at any time to swing by and talk about anything on your mind. My mission is not to focus on the past but keep my eyes looking forward to what God has in store for our school. Luke 9:62 states, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the service in the kingdom of God.” This verse is a treasure chest full of deep meanings but for me, I believe,we are doing Kingdom work here at Central and God calls all of us to look forward at what He has in store for us. I challenge you as parents to be prayer warriors for our school that God directs us in every facetof our decision making and actions.

To follow up as stated above, not only do we have the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in our lives, but there is also a triad in our student’s lives. This consists of the family (33.3%), our church we attend (33.3%), and our school (33.3%) overlapping to give a village effect in making each child maximize their spiritual growth and development. All of these three working together can and will change their life for eternity. This is supported in Proverbs 22:6 where it states, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Lastly, I have included the backbone plan for Covid Action that includes three phases based on the level of concern from the outbreak as per CDC and our State governing agencies. This plan will provide an overview of CCS’s plan of action for each level. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at sharrell@cccrusaders.com or at 770-252-1234. I wish many blessings upon you and your family.

In His Grace,
