Why invest with CCS
During the past 50 years, Central has enjoyed tremendous support by parents, grandparents, alumni, faculty, staff, friends, volunteers, and businesses who love CCS! The generosity of the Central family reflects a willingness to be a sustaining partner and participant of the school. By investing in Central, you insure that we will be able to continue to educate and graduate students who exemplify Christ, integrate a biblical world view, possess strong academic skills, and desire to impact the world and culture.
CCS Sustaining Fee
At Central, we strive every day to keep pressing ahead and moving forward to provide the best academic and athletic facilities possible.
Because tuition cost only provides for approximately 85% of the total cost of private Christian education for each student, we attempt to raise monies throughout the year thru different sources to add new facilities and to maintain the buildings and grounds that the Lord has already given to us.
The Sustaining Fee is an annual fee of $175.00 per student that is due by the dates listed below:
- Families with one child enrolled at CCS – Due July 15.
- Families with more than one student enrolled at CCS – Half is Due on July 15.
– Half is due on August 15.
- Special Note: Families with more than one student also have the option of paying the entire balance by the July 15 deadline.
Central Christian School provides many opportunities to invest in the school financially. The cost of private Christian education continues to rise each year. CCS encourages every family associated with the school to invest in the present and the future by making a financial donation today. You may also choose to designate a gift. Please contact the office if you have any questions. Current opportunities are listed below:
- Make a tax deductible financial gift to CCS.
- Make a tax deductible financial gift to the Athletic Complex which includes our Football Stadium, Baseball Field, Softball Field, Soccer Field, and Gymnasium to help us complete project already underway.
- Make a tax deductible gift to the Technology Department either in the Lower or Upper school division.
- Volunteer your time and skill. We always have many projects in need of skilled individuals to work in our buildings and properties. Contact the school office if you can help in these areas of need.
During the years, Central has greatly benefited from the generosity of families, friends, and businesses in our community who have shown a willingness to be a sustaining partner with us in the life and future of the school.
CCS is a 501c3 corporation. Deductibility for tax purposes varies by the type and amount of your deduction. Contact your tax advisor or attorney for specific information on rules and regulations.
Many businesses in our community firmly believe in and support the vision and mission of CCS and recognize the social and spiritual impact the school has in our community. Businesses can partner with us through our Corporate Sponsorship Program.
While many local businesses choose to donate various amounts annually, many of them have chosen to be a part of the Corporate Blue program. In this program, any business that agrees to support CCS with an annual financial gift of $400.00, will have their names listed on the Corporate Blue wall located in the main foyer of the school building for the entire year.
To participate in the Corporate Blue program, submit the form below.

All sports offered by CCS are supported and funded through our Booster Club. These sponsors support all our athletic teams in sports throughout the year. The benefits to sponsors are numerous. In addition to passes to all home games, all supporters logos are found on the athletic web site at www.cccrusaderathletics.com and are mentioned at every home game event. Sponsors also understand that not only are CCS athletic venues used by our own sports teams, but also used by other teams in our community every week of the year, giving our sponsors added visibility throughout the year.
Special Note: Please review the sports web site for specific ways to donate to our Athletic Department.
Each year, Central Christian School sponsors two school-wide fundraisers. While we certainly encourage each and every family to participate wholeheartedly in both fundraisers, we do allow families to opt out of participating by simply paying the minimum fundraising fee for the Spring and Fall fundraising.
At the beginning of school each year, CCS sponsors our annual Discount Card Fundraiser. This is one of our most successful fundraising events because it allows families to dine at restaurants using the school discount. The cards are good for one year. Please frequent the following businesses and let them know how much you appreciate their sponsorship of Central Christian School.

This annual event is one of the highlight events of the entire school year. The auction supports the efforts of our entire Booster Club. At CCS, this includes not only our athletic teams, but also our Beginning and Advanced Band Department, Drum Corps, and our Drama Department. Consolidating these efforts helps us to more efficiently support the overall mission and vision of CCS and prevents families, individuals, and businesses from being asked for support by multiple organizations within our school.
CCS has been blessed by the support of many individuals, families, and community businesses who believe in CCS. If you would consider making a donation, please use the Donation Form.
As you can imagine, it takes a great deal of money to operate all of these programs in a way that reflects pride, spirit, and excellence. With your help, the proceeds will be used to purchase new uniforms for our sports teams, additional band instruments, drams costumes, materials to build sets, props, additional stage lighting, and microphones for school sponsored productions, and much, much more.
Special Note: All children 5th grade and under must be supervised by an adult to view the silent auction items. Thank you for your support and understanding in this area.

No Cost Fundraisers
There are many ways for parents, grandparents, friends and supporters of CCS to support CCS financially throughout the year through every day expenditures. The following opportunities make supporting CCS easier than you think.
KROGER REWARDS PROGRAM
Enroll your Kroger Plus card at Kroger’s Community web site or drop by a local Kroger store in your community to register. When you shop at Kroger and use your Kroger Plus card, Central will earn rewards. You must re-enroll your Kroger Plus card each September. Click here to sign up!
PUBLIX LOYALTY CARDS
Each year, Publix gives Central an inventory of Publix Loyalty cards for family and friends of CCS. When shopping at Publix, ask a cashier to scan your loyalty card at check out. Publix will donate a portion of your purchase to CCS. Click here to sign up!
Central sells gift cards to hundreds of retailers. You pay and receive the face value of the gift card (just like if you bought one from a business) and CCS receives a portion of your purchase. Gift cards are available for gas, restaurants, and major retailers, so buy some for yourself or others and allow CCS to benefit from the purchases you make every day. If a family just made grocery purchases this way, Central would receive over $500.00 per year per family.
The next time you are ready to renew your magazine subscription or buy a new magazine, log in to the Great American Opportunities web site and put in our school code. CCS will receive credit for your order and a check semi-annually for 40% of your purchase. Please click here for more information.
Establish an account on goodshop.com and register Central as your beneficiary school. Every time you make a purchase on line, log into goodshop.com and shop at more than 2,800 participating stores and a percentage of your purchase will be donated to CCS. You have to go to goodshop.com before you start to shop.

The Central Foundation
The Central Foundation was established with the goal of providing a world-class Christian education for families seeking that experience. Since 1965, we have had the privilege of seeing thousands of students attend and graduate from Central and make an impact in the world in which they live.
During these years, we have realized that some families are unable to afford the total cost of tuition for their child. The foundation was established to help provide funds on a limited basis for families who need financial assistance. Beyond the quality of education, those students would miss the opportunity to develop or deepen their personal relationship with Jesus Christ. That would be a great tragedy.
Limited funds are available on a first come, first served basis each year. Because of the generosity of many families and businesses, Central Foundation grants a substantial amount in financial assistance each year. Please contact the school office at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
More importantly, the Central Foundation allows an individual, friend, or local business to make a lasting different in a student’s life by making a donation to Central Foundation on a monthly basis or by making a one-time gift to the Foundation. You may even designate a donation to an individual or family in need through the school. All sponsorships are considered anonymous. All donations are tax deductible and are managed carefully by WDH Business Consultants to ensure that funds are dispersed properly. To donate to the Central Foundation to help and assist other families and students, complete the form below and send it to the office.
Thank you in advance for helping others to be able to afford a Christian education.

Central understands the importance of having a Master Plan in place. A plan demonstrates to our families, friends and the community at large that we are continually moving forward in academics, athletics, and facilities. Currently, God has blessed us with more than 40 acres and over 50 thousand feet of buildings that includes an Athletic Complex with a gymnasium, Football Stadium, Baseball Field, Softball Field, and Soccer Field. We can truly say, “To God be the glory, great things HE has done”.

New Concrete for Baseball/Softball Fields
Recently, more than 60 yards of concrete were poured and finished to help improve the walkway to the Football Stadium and to improve the softball and baseball bleacher area. The project was completed on August 4, 2017.
The Capital Fund established by CCS ensures that as our school moves forward in the areas of academics, buildings, and facilities, we have the proper funding in place to ensure the success of the projects. One way that we do this is through the annual sustaining fee paid each year by our parents.
While most of this fee is used to continually move forward in the 3 areas mentioned about, a portion of these funds is used to maintain the property, facilities and buildings we currently have. A special Capital Fund Drive is held every year to allow families who believe in our future here at Central to make a tax-deductible contribution to this fund. Fundraising and corporate sponsorship is also an important part of this campaign.
Important information is sent out to our families throughout the year to help keep you up to date concerning this fund. Thank you in advance for your help and participation.
Georgia Goal Scholarship
How excited would you be if someone told you that you could help scholarship new students to Central Christian School who have not been able to afford it until now?
Effective July, 2008, an exciting new law (House Bill 1133) now allows us as individuals, families, and business managers/owners to redirect a portion of our Georgia income tax payments to benefit CCS students. To make this possible for CCS families and friends, we are working in partnership with the Georgia Goal Scholarship Program, the premier state-approved scholarship organization. This program opens the door for private schools to receive state funds for scholarships. What makes the program so incredible is that you are not affecting your budget in any way. You are simply able to CHOOSE to have some of your income tax dollars donated to Goal and designated for Central Christian School that you as a tax payer were going to give to state government anyway!
This program is not a tax deduction, which would only lower the taxpayer’s burden by a small percentage. It is a full tax credit for the funds directed to private schools.
In 2008, the Georgia General Assembly passed House Bill 1133 and it was signed into law by Governor Sonny Perdue. This new law allows you, a Georgia taxpayer, to redirect a portion of your Georgia income tax payments to provide scholarship assistance to incoming CCS students! To enable our supporters to take advantage of this program, we are working with the Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program, a state-approved student scholarship organization.
If you owe Georgia taxes, you can receive a tax credit (more than a mere income tax deduction!) against your Georgia income tax liability for amounts contributed to GOAL. For married couples filing a joint return, the maximum tax credit-eligible contribution is $2,500 ($1,000 as an individual). The best part is that you are not affecting your budget in any way; you are contributing money to GOAL (designated for use at CCS) that you were going to pay to the state government in taxes anyway!
GOAL is projecting the $51.5 million cap may be reached as early as June 2017. To ensure approval of your intended contribution in time to secure a 2016 Georgia income tax credit, please complete and submit your 2 forms (GOAL Tax Credit Form and IT-QEE-TP1) to Central Christian School by May 1, 2017. The donor has 60 days from approval to make the contribution to GOAL.
How does this work?
Step 1 – Complete the following two forms:
- Complete the 2016 GOAL Tax Credit Form
- Complete the IT-QEE-TP1 Form – (Qualified Education Expense Credit Preapproval Form) Note: If married filing jointly, include both spouses Tax ID’s (SS#). Be sure to sign on page 2 of the form (only 1 signature required). Please include a telephone number on page 1.
Step 2 – Write check payable to: Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program, Inc. (designate “Central Christian School” in the Memo line of check)
Step 3 – Return forms and check to the Central Christian School office.
What Happens Next?
- CCS will send your forms and payment to GOAL.
- GOAL will submit your forms to DOR for approval on your behalf.
- DOR will send your letter of approval back to GOAL
- GOAL will send you a Form IT-QEE-SSO1 contribution acknowledgement
- By January 2017, GOAL will mail your a receipt Form IT- QEE-TP2 to file with your taxes, along with tax filing guidelines.
When you complete your 2016 tax filing you receive a dollar-for-dollar credit against your Georgia income taxes for the amount of your contribution, and you receive a charitable tax deduction on your federal taxes. You may still file your taxes electronically if you elect to take this credit.
Do you own or run a business?
Corporations can receive a tax credit for amounts contributed to the GOAL Scholarship Program up to 75 percent of their Georgia income tax liability. Presently, this tax credit is only fully available to “C” corporations. Unfortunately, shareholders of S corporations and members of LLCs and LLPs are subject to the individual tax credit limitations.
How are the funds used?
The GOAL Scholarship Program uses the CCS designated contributions to fund K-12 scholarships for public school children who desire to attend MPCS. The scholarships are also available for qualified students who are eligible to enter kindergarten. Each year, CCS uses its regular admission and financial aid processes to determine those students who are eligible to receive GOAL scholarships and submits the scholarship candidates and amounts to GOAL for final approval.
How to Learn More
To learn all of the details about the new law, the process for pre-qualifying and making your contributions, and the GOAL Scholarship Program, we invite you to visit the GOAL website at www.goalscholarship.org, or contact Pam McCurry in the school office.
We are here to help you with this simple process and make it as easy as possible for you to use this new program to help CCS grow!
Gifts of Cash
All cash gifts are deductible for federal income tax purposes up to a limit of 50% of your AGI, if deductions are itemized. Please contact your tax advisor or attorney for details. Anyone interested in making a donation can call the office at 770-252-1234.
